PCAT7

Description

The PCAT7 (prostate cancer associated transcript 7) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 9.

PCAT7 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that has been found to be dysregulated in a variety of cancers. It is thought to play a role in tumorigenesis by regulating gene expression. However, the exact mechanisms by which PCAT7 functions are still under investigation.

PCAT7, a long non-coding RNA, is implicated in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and tumorigenesis. Studies suggest its role in regulating gene expression, potentially acting as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) to sponge microRNAs. However, its precise mechanisms and biological significance remain to be fully elucidated.

PCAT7 is also known as PCAN-R2.
