PARP11

Description

The PARP11 (poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase family member 11) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.

PARP11 is a mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase that adds a single ADP-ribose molecule to target proteins. This process, known as mono-ADP-ribosylation, plays a role in nuclear envelope stability and nuclear remodeling during spermiogenesis. These findings are based on experimental evidence from UniProtKB and published research (PubMed:25043379, PubMed:25673562).

PARP11 is also known as ARTD11, C12orf6, MIB006.
