P2RY10

Description

The P2RY10 (P2Y receptor family member 10) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.

P2RY10 is a human gene that encodes a protein belonging to the G-protein coupled receptor family. This receptor is preferentially activated by adenosine and uridine nucleotides. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein isoform have been identified for this gene. The information in this description is from the United States National Library of Medicine, which is in the public domain.

Putative receptor that binds purines and activates G-proteins.

P2RY10 is also known as LPS2, LYPSR2, P2Y10.
