NYAP1

Description

The NYAP1 (neuronal tyrosine phosphorylated phosphoinositide-3-kinase adaptor 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

NYAP1 activates PI3K (phosphoinositide 3-kinase) and simultaneously brings the WAVE1 complex close to PI3K, playing a crucial role in shaping the structure of neurons.

NYAP1 is also known as C7orf51.
