NXT2
Description
The NXT2 (nuclear transport factor 2 like export factor 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.
NXT2 regulates the export of proteins containing nuclear export signals (NES) from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. It also plays a role in the export of mRNA from the nucleus.
NXT2 is also known as P15-2.
