NUDT9

Description

The NUDT9 (nudix hydrolase 9) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 4.

The NUDT9 gene in humans encodes for ADP-ribose pyrophosphatase, mitochondrial, an enzyme involved in the breakdown of ADP-ribose.

The enzyme breaks down ADP-ribose (ADPR) into AMP and ribose 5'-phosphate.

NUDT9 is also known as NUDT10.
