NTNG1

Description

The NTNG1 (netrin G1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

Netrin-G1 is a protein produced by the NTNG1 gene in humans.

NTNG1 plays a crucial role in regulating the organization and development of neuronal networks. It influences the formation of neuronal circuits at multiple levels, including the arrangement of layers (laminar), individual cells (cellular), subcellular components, and synapses. Additionally, it promotes the growth of both axons and dendrites, contributing to the establishment of neuronal connections.

NTNG1 is also known as Lmnt1, NetG1, NetrinG1.
