NPSR1-AS1

Description

The NPSR1-AS1 (NPSR1 antisense RNA 1) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 7.

NPSR1-AS1 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) located on chromosome 7. It is transcribed from the opposite strand of the neuropeptide S receptor 1 gene (NPSR1) and acts as a regulator of NPSR1 expression.

The exact function of NPSR1-AS1 is still being investigated, but research suggests it might play a role in regulating the expression of the NPSR1 gene. This regulation could be linked to various physiological processes, including neurotransmission, appetite regulation, and stress response.

NPSR1-AS1 is also known as AAA1.
