NOSTRIN

Description

The NOSTRIN (nitric oxide synthase trafficking) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

Nostrin acts as a multivalent adapter protein, potentially reducing the activity of NOS3 (endothelial nitric oxide synthase) by relocating it away from the plasma membrane.

NOSTRIN is also known as DaIP2.
