Description

The NIF3L1 (NGG1 interacting factor 3 like 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

NIF3-like protein 1 is a protein encoded by the NIF3L1 gene in humans. It has been shown to interact with COPS2.

NIF3L1 may act as a transcriptional corepressor by interacting with COPS2. This interaction suppresses the expression of genes crucial for neuronal differentiation.

NIF3L1 is also known as ALS2CR1, CALS-7, MDS015.
