NCOA7

Description

The NCOA7 (nuclear receptor coactivator 7) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

Nuclear receptor coactivator 7 is a protein in humans encoded by the NCOA7 gene. It functions as a transcription coregulator, enhancing the activities of several nuclear receptors. NCOA7 is involved in various processes within the body, including hormone signaling and gene expression.

NCOA7 enhances the transcriptional activities of various nuclear receptors. It plays a role in coactivation of several nuclear receptors, including ESR1 (estrogen receptor alpha), THRB (thyroid hormone receptor beta), PPARG (peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma), and RARA (retinoic acid receptor alpha).

NCOA7 is also known as ERAP140, ESNA1, NCOA7-AS, Nbla00052, Nbla10993, TLDC4, dJ187J11.3.
