NBEA

Description

The NBEA (neurobeachin) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 13.

NBEA interacts with the regulatory subunits of protein kinase A (PKA) and directs them to the cell membrane. This anchoring action might also connect PKA to components of the cytoskeleton and other cellular structures.

NBEA is also known as BCL8B, LYST2, NEDEGE.
