The NAT9 (N-acetyltransferase 9 (putative)) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

NAT9 is a human gene that encodes for the enzyme N-acetyltransferase 9.

NAT9 is an N-acetyltransferase enzyme that modifies alpha and beta tubulin by adding an acetyl group to their N-terminal ends.

NAT9 is also known as EBSP, hNATL.
