NAT16


Description

The NAT16 (N-acetyltransferase 16 (putative)) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

NAT16 is a probable N-acetyltransferase with minimal activity towards L-histidine. It does not exhibit N-acetyltransferase activity towards other amino acids. The natural substance this enzyme interacts with is currently unknown.

NAT16 is also known as C7orf52.
