NAPB
Description
The NAPB (NSF attachment protein beta) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 20.
Beta-soluble NSF attachment protein is a SNAP protein involved in vesicular trafficking and exocytosis, which is encoded by the NAPB gene in humans.
Required for the movement of vesicles between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus.
NAPB is also known as DEE107, SNAP-BETA, SNAPB.
