NAALADL1

Description

The NAALADL1 (N-acetylated alpha-linked acidic dipeptidase like 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

NAALADL1 is an aminopeptidase with a broad range of substrates. It exhibits reduced activity with substrates containing Asp or Glu in the P2' position or Pro in the P3' position. NAALADL1 lacks activity against substrates with both Pro in the P3' position and Asp or Glu in the P2' position. Additionally, it lacks carboxypeptidase and dipeptidyl-peptidase IV type activity.

NAALADL1 is also known as HILAP, I100, NAALADASEL.
