MYBL2

Description

The MYBL2 (MYB proto-oncogene like 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 20.

MYBL2 is a gene that encodes a protein called Myb-related protein B. This protein is a transcription factor that plays a role in cell cycle progression. It is involved in both activating and repressing gene expression, and it has been shown to activate the expression of several genes involved in cell division. MYBL2 is also known to be deregulated in various cancers, which suggests that it may contribute to the development and progression of these diseases. MYBL2 interacts with a number of other proteins, including CDK9, CREB-binding protein, Cyclin A1, Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1C, EP300, PARP1, and Retinoblastoma-like protein 1.

MYBL2 is a transcription factor that plays a role in regulating cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. It activates the expression of the CLU gene.

MYBL2 is also known as B-MYB, BMYB.
