MSC

Description

The MSC (musculin) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

MSC, or Musculin, is a human gene. It is a transcription repressor that plays a role in B-cell differentiation. It can bind to DNA as a homodimer or heterodimer with TCF3.

MSC acts as a transcription repressor, inhibiting the activation of TCF3/E47. It is likely involved in regulating B-cell differentiation in response to antigens.

MSC is also known as ABF-1, ABF1, MYOR, bHLHa22.
