MPV17L
Description
The MPV17L (MPV17 mitochondrial inner membrane protein like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 16.
Isoform 1 of MPV17L, also known as M-LP homolog, is involved in reactive oxygen species metabolism by regulating the expression of antioxidant enzymes. It also protects against mitochondrial apoptosis.
MPV17L is also known as M-LPH, M-LPH1, M-LPH2, MLPH1, MLPH2, MPV17L1.
