Description

The METTL21C (methyltransferase 21C, AARS1 lysine) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 13.

METTL21C is a protein-lysine N-methyltransferase that uses S-adenosyl-L-methionine as a methyl donor. It is known to mono-, di-, and trimethylate lysine residue 943 of the AARS1 protein.

METTL21C is also known as C13orf39.
