MED4-AS1

Description

The MED4-AS1 (MED4 antisense RNA 1) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 13.

MED4-AS1 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that is located on chromosome 12. It is approximately 1,500 nucleotides in length and is transcribed from the opposite strand of the MED4 gene. MED4-AS1 is highly expressed in various tissues, including the brain, heart, and liver.

MED4-AS1 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that has been implicated in a variety of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and differentiation. It is thought to function by regulating the expression of other genes. For example, MED4-AS1 has been shown to promote the expression of the oncogene MYC, and to suppress the expression of the tumor suppressor gene p53. MED4-AS1 has also been linked to a number of diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, and neurodegenerative disorders.

MED4-AS1 is also known as MED4-AS.
