MCF2L

Description

The MCF2L (MCF.2 cell line derived transforming sequence like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 13.

Guanine nucleotide exchange factor DBS is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MCF2L gene.

This gene encodes a guanine nucleotide exchange factor that catalyzes guanine nucleotide exchange on RHOA and CDC42, thereby contributing to the regulation of RHOA and CDC42 signaling pathways. It lacks activity with RAC1. Truncation of the N-terminus results in activation and increased tumorigenicity. Isoform 5 activates CDC42.

MCF2L is also known as ARHGEF14, DBS, OST.
