Description
The MARVELD3 (MARVEL domain containing 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 16.
MARVELD3 protein is a part of tight junctions, which are structures that seal the spaces between cells and regulate the movement of molecules between them. MARVELD3 specifically contributes to the control of how ions pass through these spaces.
MARVELD3 is also known as MARVD3, MRVLDC3.
