MALL

Description

The MALL (mal, T cell differentiation protein like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

The MALL gene produces a protein involved in the trafficking of molecules within endothelial cells. This protein is a member of the MAL proteolipid family and predominantly resides in GEM rafts, which are specialized membrane regions enriched in glycolipids and cholesterol. It interacts with caveolin-1, another important protein.

The MALL gene encodes a protein that is crucial for the movement of molecules within endothelial cells, particularly in specialized membrane regions called GEM rafts. This protein interacts with another important protein called caveolin-1, which is involved in various cellular processes.

MALL is also known as BENE.
