MAGEH1
Description
The MAGEH1 (MAGE family member H1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.
MAGEH1 is a human gene that encodes the Melanoma-associated antigen H1 protein. This protein is thought to play a role in apoptosis (programmed cell death). The gene has multiple polyadenylation sites, meaning it can produce different versions of the protein. MAGEH1 has been shown to interact with the Low affinity nerve growth factor receptor.
MAGEH1 is also known as APR-1, APR1, MAGEH.
