LY75

Description

The LY75 (lymphocyte antigen 75) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

LY75, also known as CD205 and DEC-205, is a protein encoded by the LY75 gene in humans.

LY75 acts as an endocytic receptor, capturing antigens from outside the cell and delivering them to a specialized compartment for processing. This process potentially contributes to reducing the growth of B-lymphocytes.

LY75 is also known as CD205, CLEC13B, DEC-205, GP200-MR6, LY-75.
