LRFN4

Description

The LRFN4 (leucine rich repeat and fibronectin type III domain containing 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

LRFN4, short for Leucine rich repeat and fibronectin type III domain containing 4, is a protein found in humans. It is produced by the LRFN4 gene.

LRFN4 promotes the growth of nerve fibers (neurites) in brain cells called hippocampal neurons. It may also help move a protein called DLG4 to the outer edges of these cells.

LRFN4 is also known as FIGLER6, SALM3, SALM3..
