LETM2
Description
The LETM2 (leucine zipper and EF-hand containing transmembrane protein 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.
The exact function of LETM2 remains to be fully elucidated. However, its localization in the mitochondria and its structural features suggest a role in calcium transport or regulation, potentially influencing mitochondrial function and cellular signaling.
LETM2 is also known as SLC55A2.
