Lansoprazole
Description
Lansoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medication commonly prescribed for acid reflux, heartburn, and peptic ulcers. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach, thereby alleviating symptoms. Lansoprazole is available in oral forms, including tablets, capsules, and granules, and is generally well-tolerated by most patients. It is often used in conjunction with other medications for more effective treatment of gastrointestinal conditions.
