LAMP5
Description
The LAMP5 (lysosomal associated membrane protein family member 5) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 20.
LAMP5 contributes to the short-term changes in the strength of connections (synaptic plasticity) specifically within a group of nerve cells called GABAergic neurons in the brain.
LAMP5 is also known as BAD-LAMP, BADLAMP, C20orf103, LAMP-5, UNC-46.
