KLHL17

Description

The KLHL17 (kelch like family member 17) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

KLHL17 is a component of cullin-RING-based BCR (BTB-CUL3-RBX1) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complexes. The BCR(KLHL17) complex targets GLUR6 for ubiquitination and degradation. It is thought to play a role in actin-based neuronal functions.

KLHL17 is also known as AF.
