- Breast cancer
- Ovarian cancer
- Colorectal cancer
- Leukemia
Associated Diseases
Katnal1 mutations have been linked to a number of diseases, including:
- Breast cancer: Katnal1 mutations have been found in about 5% of breast cancers. These mutations are more common in women who have a family history of breast cancer.
- Ovarian cancer: Katnal1 mutations have been found in about 10% of ovarian cancers. These mutations are more common in women who have a family history of ovarian cancer.
- Colorectal cancer: Katnal1 mutations have been found in about 5% of colorectal cancers. These mutations are more common in men who have a family history of colorectal cancer.
- Leukemia: Katnal1 mutations have been found in about 10% of leukemias. These mutations are more common in children who have a family history of leukemia.
