JKAMP

Description

The JKAMP (JNK1/MAPK8 associated membrane protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.

JKAMP, also known as JNK1-associated membrane protein, is a protein encoded by the JKAMP gene in humans.

JKAMP regulates the duration of MAPK8 activity in response to various stress stimuli. It facilitates the degradation of misfolded endoplasmic reticulum (ER) proteins by recruiting components of the proteasome and ER-associated degradation (ERAD) system.

JKAMP is also known as C14orf100, C24orf100, CDA06, HSPC213, HSPC327, JAMP.
