Description
The ISLR2 (immunoglobulin superfamily containing leucine rich repeat 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.
Plays a crucial role in the growth and elongation of axons, the long, slender projections of nerve cells that transmit signals, during the development of the nervous system.
ISLR2 is also known as LINX.
