IRF2BP1

Description

The IRF2BP1 (interferon regulatory factor 2 binding protein 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.

IRF2BP1 acts as a transcriptional corepressor dependent on IRF2, without relying on histone deacetylase activity. It may function as an E3 ubiquitin ligase for JDP2, promoting its polyubiquitination. IRF2BP1 also suppresses ATF2-dependent transcriptional activation.

IRF2BP1 is also known as -.
