Description

The IKZF5 (IKAROS family zinc finger 5) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

IKZF5 acts as a transcriptional repressor, binding to the core DNA sequence 5'GNNTGTNG-3'. This protein plays a role in megakaryocyte differentiation.

IKZF5 is also known as PEGASUS, THC7, ZNFN1A5.
