IFNA10
Description
The IFNA10 (interferon alpha 10) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.
Interferon alpha-10 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IFNA10 gene.
Interferon alpha-10 (IFN-alpha-10) is produced by macrophages and exhibits antiviral activity. It stimulates the production of two enzymes: a protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase.
IFNA10 is also known as IFN-alphaC.
