IDI1
Description
The IDI1 (isopentenyl-diphosphate delta isomerase 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.
IDI1 catalyzes the conversion of isopentenyl diphosphate (IPP) to dimethylallyl diphosphate (DMAPP) through a 1,3-allylic rearrangement.
IDI1 is also known as IPP1, IPPI1.
