HTR3B

Description

The HTR3B (5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 3B) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

HTR3B, also known as 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) receptor 3B, is a human gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the 5-HT3 receptor.

The HTR3B protein forms serotonin-activated cation-selective channel complexes that trigger rapid depolarizing responses in neurons when activated.

HTR3B is also known as 5-HT3B.
