HINT3

Description

The HINT3 (histidine triad nucleotide binding protein 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

HINT3 is an enzyme that exhibits adenosine 5'-monophosphoramidase activity. It breaks down various compounds including purine nucleotide phosphoramidates, such as adenosine 5'monophosphoramidate (AMP-NH2), lysyl-AMP generated by lysine tRNA ligase, 3-indolepropionic acyl-adenylate, and fluorogenic purine nucleoside tryptamine phosphoramidates.

HINT3 is also known as HINT4.
