HIF1A-AS2

Description

The HIF1A-AS2 (HIF1A antisense RNA 2) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 14.

HIF1A-AS2 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that has been implicated in a variety of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and angiogenesis. It is known to regulate the expression of other genes, including the hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF1A) gene, which is involved in the cellular response to low oxygen levels. However, the exact mechanisms by which HIF1A-AS2 exerts its effects are not fully understood.
