Description

The HHATL (hedgehog acyltransferase like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

HHATL negatively regulates the N-terminal palmitoylation of SHH (Sonic Hedgehog) by interacting with HHAT/SKN (Hedgehog acyltransferase).

HHATL is also known as C3orf3, GUP1, MBOAT3, MSTP002, OACT3.
