Description:
Heart failure (CHF) is a chronic condition in which the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. It can affect both sides of the heart (congestive heart failure) or just the left ventricle (systolic heart failure).
CHF results from a weakened heart muscle, which can be caused by various factors such as coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity.
