Description
The HAUS8 (HAUS augmin like complex subunit 8) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.
HAUS8 contributes to the assembly of the mitotic spindle, maintains the integrity of the centrosome, and helps complete cytokinesis. It accomplishes these roles as part of the HAUS augmin-like complex.
HAUS8 is also known as DGT4, HICE1, NY-SAR-48.
