HAUS6

Description

The HAUS6 (HAUS augmin like complex subunit 6) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.

HAUS augmin-like complex subunit 6, also known as HAUS6, is a human gene.

HAUS6 contributes to mitotic spindle assembly, maintenance of centrosome integrity, and completion of cytokinesis as part of the HAUS augmin-like complex. It promotes microtubule nucleation from the spindle through recruitment of NEDD1 and gamma-tubulin.

HAUS6 is also known as Dgt6, FAM29A.
