HAUS4

Description

The HAUS4 (HAUS augmin like complex subunit 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.

HAUS4 plays a role in the assembly of the mitotic spindle, the maintenance of centrosome integrity, and the completion of cytokinesis. This is achieved through its involvement in the HAUS augmin-like complex. The interaction of HAUS4 with the gamma-tubulin ring complex is crucial for spindle assembly.

HAUS4 is also known as C14orf94.
