HAUS2

Description

The HAUS2 (HAUS augmin like complex subunit 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.

HAUS2 plays a crucial role in the proper assembly of the mitotic spindle, ensuring the integrity of the centrosome, and enabling the successful completion of cell division (cytokinesis). It achieves this by being part of the HAUS augmin-like complex.

HAUS2 is also known as C15orf25, CEP27, HsT17025.
