Description

The GXYLT1 (glucoside xylosyltransferase 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.

GXYLT1 is a glycosyltransferase that adds a xylose sugar to an existing glucose molecule attached to EGF-like repeats within the extracellular domain of Notch proteins.

GXYLT1 is also known as GLT8D3.
