Description

The GUCA2A (guanylate cyclase activator 2A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

GUCA2A is an endogenous activator of intestinal guanylate cyclase, stimulating this enzyme through the same receptor binding region as the heat-stable enterotoxins.
