GTPBP6

Description

The GTPBP6 (GTP binding protein 6 (putative)) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X|Y.

GTP binding protein 6, also known as GTPBP6, is a protein encoded by the pseudoautosomal GTPBP6 gene in humans. Overexpression of GTPBP6, which can occur in individuals with Klinefelter's syndrome (having one or more extra X-chromosomes), is inversely correlated with verbal ability.

GTPBP6 is also known as PGPL.
